PRACTICE ON YOUR FRIENDS

I took an RV trip with some friends. And, this time, instead of using the excuse...."i'm not bringing my camera, b/c i always take pictures"....i packed up the nikon FM. They say you are only as good as your last photograph, so you gotta work that muscle, just like ALL the others ones. ha. A week after this trip, I had a big shoot in Miami that was going to require shooting all b/w film. Yes, amazing. So, this was my warm up, my film test...my pre-game stretch if you will. It truly got me in the mindset. I start to think differently when i shoot film and it was nice to get a jump on that way of thinking. Not to mention, it was another reminder of why I shoot pictures. Not because i have to, but rather just because i want to.

Beautiful collection...I have been shooting a Nikon FG-20 lately and it definitely makes you think differently about each frame

They are all great photos, but the one of D. in front of the window blows me away. Put that on the wall!
